SPR Models distribute Spark, Bizarre
& Red Line 1:43 scale models to retail outlets
throughout New Zealand. These three ranges cover a comprehensive
selection of road-going sports cars, sports racing cars,
sports prototypes and Grand Prix & F1 models.
- Spark, the largest brand of the three, model
a wide range of sports and competition vehicles with
a strong emphasis on Le Mans cars and sports racing
cars.
Racecars driven by New Zealanders are well represented
in the Spark range, including cars piloted by Bruce
McLaren, Chris Amon, Howden Ganley, Andrew Bagnall
and Rob Wilson.
- Bizarre, as the name suggests, produce the
more unusual models often overlooked by mainstream
model manufacturers. They specialise in models of
sports racing cars from the 1950's to 1980's.
Bizarre also produce a range of Land Speed Record
cars.
- Red Line produces a range of extremely high
quality, super accurate road and racing models licensed
& approved by Ferrari. Each numbered model is
limited to between 500 and 1000 pieces worldwide,
and very limited numbers are imported.
All three ranges are produced in high-quality resin,
and are hand-finished to an extremely high standard,
with accurate racing graphics and many photo-etched
metal components used for finer detailing - and because
of the limited numbers imported, all models are very
collectable.
