Our Almac Sabre S2 was finally finished just two days before the 2004 Dunlop Targa, and had only completed 52km of road trials prior to the event's first special stage. Not a great idea to enter such a gruelling 7 day event with such limited testing, but we finished the 907kms of race stages, and 1628kms of touring with only minor battle scares - as shown in these images taken back in Auckland a couple of days after the event!
